Creating a classroom – Teams

🛈 This should be automatically done for schools that have integrated with Office 365, if classes are not syncing, please raise a case on the Inspire ICT helpdesk.

  1. Click the  ‘Teams’ from the app bar on the left 
  1. Select ‘Join or create team’ 
  1. Select ‘Create team’ 
  1. Then select ‘Class’ as the team type 
  1. Enter the name of your class, for example “Year 6 Elm” 
  1. Add the Students and additional Teachers to be part of the class 
  1. Your class has now been created with a default channel called General
