General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) Service
Our GDPR service is split into 4 steps, Health Check, Implementation, Ongoing Support and GDPR Database.
1. Health Check
Inspire ICT will provide the school with a range of templates that you can complete to help prepare the school for GDPR.
Once you have completed the templates, an experienced consultant will visit your school to review these templates, discuss staff training and other areas of your GDPR readiness. Following the meeting, the consultant will write a report outlining their findings and recommendations to help you achieve GDPR compliance.
2. Implementation
At the implementation stage there are two options for the school to consider. If you feel confident to implement the Health Check recommendations internally without our support, then you would be entirely free to do so. Alternatively, we can help you to make changes to your processes and procedures to help you become compliant.
3. Ongoing Support
Once your school is compliant we can provide an annual DPO support service.
We will provide you with an appointed DPO to ensure you have ongoing access to a designated expert Data Protection Officer (DPO), a key requirement of the new GDPR regulation. The service provides unlimited remote and telephone support to help ensure that you are successfully guided through any data protection issues that take place.
In addition, an on-site annual audit will be carried out to review your compliance with the GDPR regulation. The GDPR Data Protection Officer Service is available to schools that purchase the Health Check service.
4. GDPR Database
We have partnered with two online GDPR specialists to provide online platforms to manage your journey to compliance, providing a mechanism for staff training and resources, logging and responding to Subject Access Requests and logging Data Breaches where necessary.
